Privacy Policy

Version of 8 November 2026 · applies to the NeuAmigo apps and this website

NeuAmigo collects only what you share to run the services you use. NeuAmigo is separate from NeuMarry (our matrimony app): your NeuAmigo data is not used for matchmaking. We never sell it, and you can see, correct or delete it at any time. From 6 December 2026 the company responsible for your data is NeuCoNet Private Limited (CIN U58202GJ2026PTC186051), registered office: 83 Lalakumj Estate, Pandesara, Surat 394221, Gujarat, India (contact: support@neuamigo.com) ("NeuAmigo", "we"). Until then it is Swapnil Dinesh Bhagat, Surat, Gujarat, India, who is also the company's director.

2. How we use it

2.1 We use your data to: create and secure your account; run the services you use (rooms, events, travel buddies, job referrals, experts, sales and ads); check what we say we check; take payments and give refunds; keep members safe and enforce our Terms; send service messages; send marketing only if you agreed; and fix and improve the Service.

2.2 Legal bases. We rely on your consent (for example marketing), on what is needed to provide the Service you signed up for, on our legitimate interest in keeping the Service safe and free of fraud, and on legal obligations such as tax records. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect what we did before.

2.3 Moderation and automatic safety checks. New photos may be checked automatically for nudity and sexual content by Google Cloud Vision, which processes the photo in memory only, does not store it and does not use it to train its models; we keep only the result. Text that asks for money, bank or payment details, gift cards or money transfers outside the app's payment steps may be blocked; we keep only a note that it was blocked. Our team reviews content that is reported or flagged. We do not read messages for advertising or any other purpose.

3. Who we share it with

3.1 We never sell your personal data or share it for other companies' advertising. The one exception is the Meta Pixel on this website (never in the app): it tells Meta that a visit to this website came from our ads. You can turn it off at any time in “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, and it stays off if your browser sends Global Privacy Control. The app shows no ads and does not use your device's advertising ID.

3.2 We share data only with service providers that process it for us under contract, only as needed, and with safeguards at least as strong as this policy:

ProviderWhat they handle
Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage; servers in the United States)Account, profile, messages, photos and Verified Tick images
PayPalPayments on our website
Google (Google sign-in, if you use it; app notifications when we switch them on)Sign-in and notification delivery
Brevo (emails from support@neuamigo.com)Your email address and first name, for one reminder if you have not finished signing up, and replies to your messages
GitHub (hosting of this website)Website visits; the waitlist form is sent to Supabase
Google FontsLoading the fonts on this website (the app has its fonts built in); your IP address is visible to Google when fonts load
Google Cloud Vision (automatic photo check)Each new photo, to detect nudity or sexual content. Processed in memory only, not stored and not used for training
Google Analytics (this website only)Visit statistics as described in section 1. No advertising features and no Google signals are used, and Google Analytics does not store IP addresses
Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel, this website only)That a browser viewed a page of this website and whether it clicked a button that opens the app (such as “Create your free profile” or “Open the app”), with the browser’s IP address and cookie identifiers, so we can count and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. No names, emails or profile data are sent. Not used inside the app

3.3 We also share data: with other members, as described in section 10; with police, courts or regulators when the law requires it or when we believe someone is at risk of serious harm; with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the police when we find apparent child sexual abuse material (see our Child safety standards); and with a company that takes over the Service, including NeuCoNet Private Limited, which must protect it in the same way.

3.4 International transfers. Your data may be stored and processed outside your country, including in the United States, Canada and India. Where the law requires, we use contracts and other safeguards for these transfers. Those countries' authorities may be able to access data under their laws.

4. How long we keep it

5. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, access limited to people who need it, row-level security in our database so each member can reach only what they are allowed to, private storage for photos and ID images, and passwords stored only as salted hashes. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach puts you at real risk of significant harm, we will tell you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.

6. Your rights

6.1 Wherever you live, you can: see the data we hold about you; get a copy; correct it; delete your account and data; withdraw consent; stop marketing; and complain to us and to a regulator. Most of this you can do yourself in the app. For anything else, write to support@neuamigo.com. We reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm your identity.

7. Age

NeuAmigo is only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If we learn that we have, we delete the account and the data. Read our Child safety standards.

8. Changes

We will tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before an important change to this policy applies, including when NeuCoNet Private Limited takes over the Service.

9. Contact and Grievance Officer

10. NeuAmigo services (Settle In, Events & Friends, Membership, For Business)

10.1 What we collect for these services, only when you use them:

10.2 Why: to provide the service you asked for, to take payments and pay providers, to prevent fraud and keep members safe, and to meet tax and accounting law (legal obligation and contract).

10.3 Who we share it with: the other side of the service as described above; PayPal or, later, our payment partner, to process payments; and authorities where the law requires.

10.4 How long: room posts end after 30 days and are deleted 90 days later; trips are deleted 12 months after the flight day; referral requests and Connect requests 12 months after they were sent; payment records are kept for 8 years because tax law requires it. When you delete your account, all of this goes too, except payment records, and except events a business already ran, which stay under the name "Deleted business" so that buyers keep their ticket history.

10.5 Your rights in section 6 apply to all of this data.
